Type Locality: “Atlantic District. (Maine! to Pennsylvania!)...vicinity of Philadelphia”; lectotype from “Pennsylvania.”

Types: Lectotype in AMNH, designated by dos Passos (1943), Am. Mus. Novit. (1230): 4.
