Original Combination: Thecla Telea

Type Locality: “Amazon”

Types: Holotype in BMNH; ♂ genitalia of the holotype figured by K. Johnson (1989), J. Lepid. Soc. 43(2): fig. 5E.

K. Johnson (1989), J. Lepid. Soc. 43(2): 127, 134-135, determined that C. telea and C. maesites are species-level taxa.
