Colias hecla Lefèbvre, 1836

Verhulst (2009), Lambillionea 109(4): 421-422, pl. [1], figs. 1-18, pl [2], figs. 1-19, describes Colias rankinensis from “Canada, Nunavut, Rankin Inlet.” Verhulst describes this taxon and claims that it is sympatric with Colias hecla but does not discriminate it from that taxon. This taxon is mentioned here pending further elaboration of the distinction between Colias hecla and C. rankinensis.
