Alis brunneis, fasciis tribus communibus margini externo plus minusve parallelis obscurioribus; anticis punctis tribus subapicalibus triangulum formantibus et tribus ad medium costae linea recta positis (duobus in cellula in macula nigra sitis), omnibus semihyalinis: subtus magis ferrugineis, fasciis indistinctis, punctis hyalinis ut in pagina superiore: palpis segmento apicali fusco, reliquis subtus et corpore infra albidis.

Dr. Staudinger has lent us the type of this species, which was taken in Chiriqui by Ribbe and described by M. Mabille in 1889 1. It is the only specimen we have seen, and from it our figure is taken.
