Mag. 5(59): 271, no. 2; subspecies), by designation of I.C.Z.N. Opinion 177. Opinion 270 placed Euchloe on the Official List of Generic Names in Zoology as name no. 687.

Type Locality: “Mexico, Estado de Sonora, Las Avispas microwave relay, 2000' (655m), 40 mi (64 km) N Guaymas”
