Types: Syntype in ZMUC.

The placement of this name here remains tentative until the syntype is examined. Brown (1988), ibid., and Lamas et al. (2004), Atl. Neotrop. Lepid. Chcklst. Part 4A: 237, considered it a nomen dubium.
