Types: Holotype should be in MNHP or BMNH.

Proposed for the ♂ of Terias mexicana Boisduval, 1836, Spec. gén. Lépid. 1: 655.

Lamas (2004d), Atl. Neotrop. Lepid. Chcklst. Part 4A: 106, treated boisduvaliana as a subspecies of Eurema arbela Geyer, 1832, in: Hübner, Zutr. Samml. exot. Schmett. 4: pl [111], figs. 615 ♀ D, 616 ♀ V [1826]; (text): 14, no. 321 (1832, name given). This possibility remains to be thoroughly investigated.
