Verz. bekannt. Schmett. (4): 56. Type-species: Papilio europa Fabricius, 1775, Syst. Entomol.: 500-501, no. 247, by monotypy. The use of Lethe over Satyrodes and Enodia follows R. Chermock (1947), Entomol. News 58(2): 29-35, de Lesse (1957), Ann. Entomol. Soc. Fr. 125: 80-82, and Scott (1986), Butts. N. Am.: 233-236.
