Types: Neotype in HMUG, designated by J. R. Heitzman and dos Passos (1974), Trans. Am. Entomol. Soc. 100(1): 57, figs. 1 ♀ D, 2 ♀ V.

A junior objective synonym of portlandia.

Proposed as a replacement name for andromacha Hübner, [1809], erroneously thought preoccupied; a junior objective synonym of andromacha and portlandia.
