Acad. Sci. 54(2): 68; defined as “Highway 70 at Soda Creek, E. Branch of N. Fork Feather River Canyon, 2500' elev., Plumas County, California” by J. Emmel et al. (1998), Syst. W. N. Am. Butts. (2): 13. Types: Lectotype in USNM, designated by J. Emmel et al. (1998), Syst. W. N. Am. Butts. (2): 13, figs. 45 ♂ D, 46 ♂ V.
