Type Locality: “Burlington, Boulder Co., Colorado Territory” [now Longmont]; neotype from “Loveland, Colo.” [Larimer County, Colorado]

Types: Neotype in MGCL, designated by F. Brown (1964), Trans. Am. Entomol. Soc. 90(4): 357, fig. 10 ♀ D&V.
