Trans. Entomol. Soc. Lond. (4)1904(2): 198. Type-species: Papilio meton Cramer, 1779, Uitl. Kapellen 3(17): 15, pl. 201, figs. D, E; (24): 175 (index), by original designation. The genus- and species-level synonymies for this genus follow Robbins (1991), Smithsonian Contrib. Zool. (498): 1-64.
